Avtor na podlagi arhivskega gradiva opisuje veteransko organizacijo borcev za severna mejo, ki je pod raznimi imeni delovala od leta 1933 do razpustitve leta 1998, s stiriletno prekinitvijo med drugo svetovno vojno. Opisuje napore organizacije za priznanje ve­teranskega statusa in nekaj socialnih pravic veteranom ter prizadevanja za postavitev spominskih znamenj boju za severna mejo.

Lojze Penič: The Veterans' Organisation of the Soldiers Who Fought for the Slove­ne Northern Border 1918-1919. Review for History and Ethnography, Maribor 82=47(2011),2-3, pp. 99-109

The author discusses on the basis of archive materials the veterans' organisation of the soldiers who fought for the Northern border. This organisation was active under different names from 1933 until its disbandment in 1998, although with a four-year interruption during World War II. The article describes the organisation's endeavours for recognition of the veteran's status, some social rights for the veterans and for setting up some memorials for the fights for the Northern border.
