Tomaž Ivešić: Volitve v mariborsko-celjskem volilnem okrožju za Narodno skupščino 8. februarja 1925. Programi, agitacija in propaganda, izid volitev in potrditev mandatov. Časopis za zgodovino in narodopisje, Maribor 83=48(2012), 1, str. 5–30

Tomaž Ivešić: The Elections for the National Assembly on 8th February 1925 in the Maribor-Celje Electoral District. Programmes, Agitation and Propaganda, Election Results and Mandates. Review for History and Ethnography, Maribor 83=48(2012), 1, pp. 5–30

In February 1925 the voters in the Maribor-Celje electoral district could choose between fourteen slates, which was the largest number of all slates in Slovenia in the period between the wars. In this article the author deals with the programmes of all slates, mostly with their agitation and propaganda through their political newsletters. The author is interested mostly in the reasons for such a large number of slates and with this connected division of votes. He is also interested in the failure of the government parties, which happed in spite of the election terror they performed and in spite of the confiscation and prohibition of the newspapers Straža and Slovenski gospodar. The government parties only got one mandate. Considering the election outcome the author tries to explain and find out if the accusations of irregularities on the election day are legitimate.
