Prispevek se ukvarja z vprašanjem slovenskega učnega jezika v drugi polovici 19. stoletja. Ena temeljnih zahtev resolucij in govorov na taborih je bila namreč zahteva o uvedbi sloovenskega učnegajezika v osnovne in srednje šole. Ob omenjeni zahtevi pa ne gre zanemariti dejstva, da je bil čas taborov tudi čas šolske reforme, ob tem pa je potrebno poudariti, da se kljub stalni zahtevi o uvedbi slovenskega učnega jezika noben tabor ni ukvarjal s takrat žgočim vprašanjem organizacije osnovne šole.

Simona Pulko: The Issue of Slovenian as a Language of Learning (Second Half of the 19th Century). Review for History and Ethnography, Maribor 79=44(2008), 1-2, pp. 219-229

The paper deals with Slovenian as a language of learning in the second half of the 19th century. One of the main requirements enshrined in the resolution s and speeches at Tabor meetings was to introduce Slovenian as a language oflearning in pri mary and secondary schools. The time of the Tabor meetings was also a period of school reforms, although despite the constant call for the introduction of Slovenian in schools, no Tabor meeting actually discussed the then topical issue of elementary school organisation.
